Diuen que un fotògraf viu enquadrant els moments i mira la vida que passa per davant valorant-la segons la llum que incideix sobre cada instant. Nosaltres fotografiem continuament , ho fem amb o sense càmera.
Quan a qui retrates t’està també retratant en silenci, mentre t’ofereix tot allò que sap que és difícil de donar i captar , allí quiet, obedient ,només amb la seva mirada i pensament; el procés, l’instant, el fet de retratar es complica una miqueta més. Saps que hi ha quelcom més que un rostre davant, una expressió o gest que captar, hi ha una anàlisi, una opinió, una valoració sobre tu i la teva acció i una comparació necessaria i indiscutible. Ell sap que no pots retratar-li tal com és, ell és més que conscient de la dificultat.
Davant un altre que et mira amb ull fotogràfic mentre ho fotografies ,t’has de desprendre d’aquesta sensació de seguretat amb la qual t’escudes normalment davant els altres retratats , que només se senten observats, ara estàs sense la teva cuirassa, sense defensa: ell sap què estàs fent i perquè. Ets més vulnerable que mai. Saps que qualsevol moviment que fa ell serà el necessari per plasmar el seu gest per la foto que desitges , és això el que buscaves ,però aquest ,el seu moviment té molt a veure amb el que fas , amb el que tu penses, i per com actues com a fotògraf.
Fotografiar un fotògraf, mirar a qui sempre mira, captar al que sempre busca és un exercici que hauria de ser assignatura obligatòria per al retratista,així com deixar-se retratar, encara que això ja és un altre conte….
Fotografio persones sensibles que expliquen coses sobre l’amor a través dels cinc sentits i David del Val parla d’amor amb el sentit de la vista, el fotografia l’amor i ens ho explica a través del seu treball fotogràfic , ell havia de ser una «Voluntat contraposada» i ara ja la tinc, també tinc una experiència interessant, un autopsicoanálisi , un aprenentatge i una estona fantàstica plena de riures. Val la pena.
Us deixo aquí el resultat en retrats d’aquesta meravellosa estona junts en el meu hàbitat de treball. I us deixo una mostra en dos imatges de com ell a través de la fotografia ens parla de l’amor perquè ell CREA I NO NOMÉS DOCUMENTA en el seu traball de reportatge social .Ens documenta l’amor amb una pell de gallina i ens crea una plasticitat plena de sentiments.
Molts de vosaltres ja el conegueu, però vull que el conegueu des d’aquí , també.
Per cert m’oblidava dir-vos que David del Val és també això que cridem «la meva competència» per això passen aquestes coses….però jo la dic «la meva necessària i sana competència».
Sorprenentment, i malgrat el fort individualisme característic en aquesta professió que es manifesta en la disparitat de caràcters, mètodes de treball i estils,ens podem arribar a portar bé entre nosaltres , ens movem en un clima de respecte mutu i de necessitat d’enteniment.
Gràcies David per acceptar el joc i recolzar-ho. No només han estat uns riures i unes fotos , ha estat molt i molt més .

Cuando a quien retratas te está también retratando en silencio, mientras te ofrece todo aquello que sabe que es difícil de dar y captar , allí quieto, obediente ,sólo con su mirada y pensamiento; el proceso, el instante, el hecho de retratar se complica un poquito más. Sabes que hay algo más que un rostro delante , una expresión o gesto que captar, hay un análisis, una opinión, una valoración sobre tí y sobre tu acción y una comparación necesaria e indiscutible. Él sabe que no puedes retratarle tal como es, él es consciente de la gran dificultad.
Ante otro que te mira con ojo fotográfico mientras lo fotografías ,te tienes que desprender de esa sensación de seguridad con la que te escudas normalmente ante los demás retratados , que sólo se sienten observados, ahora estás sin tu coraza, sin defensa: él sabe qué estás haciendo y porqué. Eres más vulnerable que nunca. Sabes que cualquier movimiento que hace él será el necesario para plasmar su gesto en la foto que deseas , es eso lo que buscabas ,pero ese su movimiento tiene mucho que ver con lo que tu haces , con lo que tu piensas, y por como actúas como fotógrafo.
Fotografiar un fotógrafo, mirar al que siempre mira, captar al que siempre busca es un ejercicio que debería ser asignatura obligatoria para el retratista,así como dejarse retratar, pero este ya es otro cuento….
Fotografío personas sensibles que cuentan cosas sobre el amor a través de los cinco sentidos y David del Val habla de amor con el sentido de la vista, el fotografía el amor y nos lo explica a través de su trabajo fotográfico , él tenía que ser una Voluntat contraposada y ahora ya la tengo, también tengo una experiencia interesante, un autopsicoanálisis , un aprendizaje y un rato fantástico lleno de risas. Vale la pena o no?
Os dejo aquí el resultado de ese maravilloso rato juntos en mi hábitat de trabajo. Y os dejo una muestra en dos imágenes de como él a través de la fotografía nos habla de amor porque él CREA Y NO SÓLO DOCUMENTA el amor en su trabajo de reportaje social. Nos documemta el amor con una piel de gallina y nos crea la plasticidad llena de sentimiento.
Muchos de vosotros ya le conoceis pero quiero que le conozcais desde aquí también.
Por cierto me olvidaba de deciros que David del Val es también eso que llamamos «mi competencia», por eso pasan estas cosas …..y yo lo llamo «mi sana y necesaria competencia». Sorprendentemente, y a pesar del fuerte individualismo característico en esta profesión que se manifiesta en la disparidad de caracteres, métodos de trabajo y estilos,nos podemos llegar a llevar bien, nos movemos en un clima de respeto mutuo y de necesidad de entendimiento.
